Far Hills, NJ – Far Hills Country Day School (FHCDS) continues its successful Smart Fun series of workshops this spring with two new sessions for elementary school-aged children. Smart Fun events are held on the Far Hills campus located at 697 Mine Brook Road/Route 202, Far Hills, NJ on the following dates:
Kaboom! Science Explosions and Other Cool Chemical Reactions
Join super science teacher Alex Marcoulides for this noisy, messy exploration into chemical reactions that pop, spit and burst. Workshop includes demos and hands-on experiments. Attendees should wear clothes that can be easily washed. Saturday, April 11 • 10AM Ages 5-7

On the Air in 5-4-3-2-1: Intro to Broadcasting
Students script, shoot, and produce their own newscast in this hands-on workshop. Green screens, DSLR cameras, GoPros and iMovie are a few of the topics covered and tools that will be used to create a final video to be shared with the class. Saturday, April 11 • 11AM Ages KDG – 1st Grade
