Green Brook Municipal Aid Matches 2012 Numbers

Although the township has not yet introduced a budget, Green Brook is preparing to receive flat municipal state aid for the 2013 calendar year.

The township will receive $637,053, the same it received in 2012.

Green Brook Township Committee has not yet introduced a municipal budget for 2013, but more than likely will in the coming weeks.

In 2012, to be raised in local property taxes, raising taxes by an average of $100 per resident.

The tax rate was set at $0.446 per $100 in assessed value.

The 2012 budget included the filling of some vacant positions, as well as  spending priorities for road projects and emergency services.
