Green Brook's Danielle Eder Accepts National Scholars' Group Membership
Freshman student at Penn State already earning honors.

Danielle Marie Eder, of Green Brook, is making her mark on the campus at Penn State University at University Park, where the freshman has accepted membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
"NSCS is more than just a symbol of academic achievement," Stephen E. Loflin, NSCS founder and CEO, said. "Membership gives students access to a number of amazing benefits including career and networking resources, scholarships, travel, and service projects both on campus and in the community."
NSCS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is the nation's only interdisciplinary honors organization for first-year and second-year college students.

Membership is by invitation only, based on grade point average and class, two points in which Eder has already been recognized by Smeal Business School administrators who awarded her The President's award, given to those freshman who obtain a 4.0 GPA in the fall semester of their freshman year while carrying full time credits.
Eder is also a member of the Sapphire Leadership Team, a special program for high-achieving students accepted to the Smeal College of Business that provides networking events, community service initiatives, and leadership development opportunities to further develop the students' skills.
