I graduated Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, with a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering. I have worked for 32 years in the engineering consulting field and I am the director, design services/office manager for integrated project services in Franklin Township. I hold Professional Engineering licenses in New Jersey, New York, and California.

Why are you running for council?

I am running for the Green Brook Township Committee to continue my service to my community.

This in my ninth year on the committee and I enjoy being able to talk to our residents, address issues, and make plans to continue to things that have made Green Brook a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

I began my committee service with Green Brook Cub Scout Pack 129 and Boy Scout Troop 129, the Green Brook Lions Club, as a Green Brook Little League coach and as Green Brook Hockey League coach, and as a member of the Green Brook Planning Board.

What experience do you have that makes you a good candidate?

My nine years on the Township Committee, my 21 years of community service, and my leadership position within my company has given me the experience required to assess issues, deal with disparate and seemingly conflicting opinions, and coming to decisions that are best for Green Brook.

What issues would you like to see addressed if elected?

If I am fortunate to be re-elected I will continue to look for ways to stabilize the municipal portion of property taxes. We have been able to lower the township's portion of property taxes for four consecutive years. I am also excited to see the completion of our near Township Park, which will be located at the former Green Brook Swim Club site. We also will be looking into modifying the zoning requirements in our Village Commercial district to help encourage sensible development on and near Washington Avenue.
