Halloween Mischief Reported in North Plainfield

Eggs were thrown at one home and a car was damaged in another area of town, according to police.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Two incidents of criminal mischief were reported in North Plainfield on Halloween, according to police.

North Plainfield Police blotter:

  • On Oct. 31 at 3:21 p.m.: A group of unknown juveniles caused damage to a vehicle parked in the area of Harrison Avenue and Walnut Street.
  • On Oct. 31 at 9 a.m.: Criminal mischief to a residence in the area of Harold Street and Jennings Lane. Unknown actors threw eggs at the residence. The estimate of damage is unknown at this time.
