High Speed Motorcycle Chase, Man Attacked By 4 Men, Drug Arrest: North Plainfield Blotter

The motorcyclists allegedly fled from police at a high rate of speed, driving recklessly into oncoming traffic.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A high speed motorcycle chase, a burglary to an apartment, a man being attacked and robbered and more were reported in the North Plainfield Police blotter.

North Plainfield Police Blotter:

On Nov. 12 at 4:27 p.m.: Police reported two motorcycles were speeding on the westbound side of Greenbrook Road. A marked patrol car attempted to stop them, however, after seeing the car the motorcycles fled the area, driving recklessly into oncoming traffic at a high rate of speed. Neither motorcycle had a license plate and a description of the drivers could not be determined.

On Nov. 13 at 11:05 p.m.: Charles G. Barco, 31, of Plainfield was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS, Possession of Marijuana, Resisting Arrest and Obstruction. He was processed and released.

On Nov. 13 at 5:02 a.m.: A victim reported he was attacked by four black males, who took $800 from him in the area of 48 Watchung Avenue. The victim could not provide any information on the four men or how he was attacked. The victim was not injured and no weapons were used during the attack.

On Nov. 11 at 11:06 a.m.: A Steiner Place resident reported a burglary and theft from his apartment.
