BREAKING: Child Luring Attempt Reported In Somerset County

Watchung, NJ -- Police are on the lookout for man who attempted to lure a high school girl in Watchung into his car.

The incident occured today, Jan. 13 around 3 p.m. in the area of Meadowlark Drive and Valley Road, Watchung Police report.

The suspect, described as a white male around 30-years-old, offered to give the high school-age girl a ride home in his newer model light-colored SUV -- either white or gray.

The man fled the scene in an unknown direction.
