Man Hides Drugs In Sock, Underwear In Watchung: Police Blotter
A man described as a middle-aged white male wearing a blue jacket and gray sweatpants is also wanted for shoplifting $410 from DSW: blotter.

WATCHUNG, NJ — A Delaware man was arrested for hiding drugs in his sock and underwear, Watchung Police report.
On May 8 at 8:28 p.m., John Nichols, 27, of New Castle, Delaware was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and failure to turn over controlled dangerous substance to police.
During a traffic stop on Route 22 West for failure to signal, where Nicholas was a back seat passenger, a police officer detected the odor of raw marijuana coming from the inside of the car, police report.

A search found, among other illegal items in the car, a hypodermic needle, a spoon with suspected controlled dangerous substance residue and a "one-hitter" pipe in the area where Nicholas was, police reported.
Nicholas was transported to headquarters for processing and while being placed in a cell, marijuana was found in his sock and inside his underwear. The total weight of the marijuana was 15 grams, according to the blotter.

Nicholas was issued a summonses released on his own recognizance.

The suspect was described as a middle-aged white male wearing a blue jacket and gray sweatpants who fled the store with several pairs of sneakers valued at $410. Police are investigating.
On May 10: Andre Thomas, 20, of Plainfield was arrested at Middlesex County Jail for an active Watchung Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $500 full cash bail. Thomas was unable to post bail and was transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.
On May 11 at 12:25 p.m.: Anthony Bove, 58, of Orange was arrested for an outstanding warrant for $81 during a traffic stop on Route 22 West. He was transported to headquarters and released after posting full cash bail.
On May 10 at 10:10 p.m.: Jeffrey Beauzile, 36, of Middlesex was arrested during a traffic stop on Somerset Street for possession of controlled dangerous substance. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on a summonses.
On May 10 at 9:18 p.m.: Jessica Cortijo, 29, of Piscataway was arrested for having a warrant out of Piscataway for $425 following a traffic stop on Mountain Avenue for having a side brake light out and not wearing a seat belt. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released on her own recognizance.
On May 8 at 3:29 p.m.: Alwalid Edwards, 41, of Newark was arrested for having a warrant out of New Brunswick Municipal Court for $2,500 following a traffic stop at BJ's Wholesale. Edwards was turned over to New Brunswick Police Officers.
On May 9 at 2:07 p.m.: Seth Pellum, 32, of Fanwood was arrested for having a warrant out of Garwood for $500 following a traffic stop on Brookdale Road for having his license plate be unreadable. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on his own recognizance.
On May 9 at 6:21 p.m.: George Garabito, 25, of Piscataway was arrested at Westfield Police Department for having a warrant out of Watchung for $500. He was unable to post bail and transported to Somerset County Jail.
On May 10 at 2:02 a.m.: Quadiedra Bess, 23, of Phillipsburg was arrested possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-78. She was processed and released on a summonses.
On May 8 at 8:28 p.m.: John White, 44, of Newark was arrested for possession of marijuana(under 50 grams) and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Route 22 West. A marijuana cigarette and a "grinder" were found near White. He was transported to headquarters processed and released on a summonses.
