Police Seek Man Allegedly Masturbating Outside Local Business

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Police are searching for a man who was reportedly masturbating in a hair salon's doorway on Wednesday and fled the scene.

A female customer at Fatima Hair Braiding at 47 Somerset Street in North Plainfield reported seeing a man masturbating in the doorway of the business on Jan. 11 at around 9:52 p.m., North Plainfield Police report.

The man was described as approximately 5'10" to 5'11", wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a ski mask.

He reportedly fled south into Plainfield when the customer called police. Police checked the area but could not find him.
