Marijuana Found During Traffic Stop In Green Brook

Green Brook Police arrested a Piscataway man for possession of marijuana.

Green Brook, NJ -- Marijuana was discovered following a traffic stop in Green Brook, police reported.

On June 12 at 8:29 p.m. Green Brook officers reported observing a vehicle traveling west bound on Route 22 with improper color head lamps.

A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 22 westbound just before Warrenville Rd.

"Upon approach of the vehicle an odor of raw marijuana was detected emanating from the vehicle," police reported. "A search of the vehicle yielded a zip lock bag containing a green leafy substance which field tested positive for marijuana."

Shane Z. Camacho, 18 of Piscataway was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. He was also issued several motor vehicle summonses.
