Meet Watchung Board of Education Candidates at Public Forum

The Watchung Education Foundation will host a public forum later this month for the four candidates running for three seats on the Watchung Board of Education in November's election.

The forum will be held Oct. 29 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Valley View School's all-purpose room.

Board President Jeffrey Bonner, Board Member Georgia Glasser-Nehls, Thomas Sicola and David Scharf are running for election on Nov. 5.

The candidates will provide opening statements and a moderator will preside over a question-and-answer session. Watchung residents can submit questions before the forum to WEF President Hank Kita at hankkita@aol.com

Founded in 2006, the WEF is a non profit organization that raises funds from corporate and community sources for new and innovative programs and activities developed by the faculty and administration for the students at Watchung’s Bayberry and Valley View Schools
