Mount Saint Mary Academy’s student literary magazine, Echoes, has been honored by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) for the second consecutive year. The publication was one of only 30 recognized by the organization from submissions throughout the country as a literary magazine of distinction. Of those 30, only 12 received a score of “Excellent” – the Academy’s publication was one of them. Echoes is published annually and contains the original poetry, short stories, and artwork of Mount students.
