Second Man Arrested For CVS Robbery, Rifle Found At High School Baseball Field: Prosecutor

North Plainfield, NJ -- A second man was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at CVS Pharmacy located on Route 22 East, Somerset County Acting Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced today.
Rashaun Taylor, who had been on the loose, was identified as the second suspect who was with James A. Munoz, age 20, of Harrison Avenue, North Plainfield during the CVS armed robbery that occurred on April 19 in North Plainfield, according to the prosecutor's release.
Taylor was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery, first degree and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.

Bail was set by the Honorable Kevin M. Shanahan, J.S.C. at $150,000 cash only.
The arrest comes after an unloaded rifle that Taylor allegedly used in the robbery was located at North Plainfield High School's Krausche Field on Thursday, April 21, Somerset County Captain Jack Bennett confirmed.

The rifle was found by a coach along the fence of the field.
Both men had entered the CVS in North Plainfield wearing ski masks covering a portion of their faces and stole cash from a locked register, according to the prosecutor's release.
North Plainfield Police were dispatched to the scene where two employees reported a man later identified as Taylor, was carrying a long arm rifle, while Munoz allegedly stole the cash.
