Repairs and tree removals still need a permit and inspection, but there will be no cost.

Green Brook’s Construction Department will waive any construction and tree removal permit and inspection fees for superstorm Sandy-related storm damage to one-and two-family homes in Green Brook.

The Township Committee approved the move at its Nov. 19 meeting.

Repairs and construction and tree removal that are needed as a result of superstorm Sandy still will require a permit and inspection, but related fees will be waived for homeowners, according to a statement released by Administrator/Municipal Clerk Kelly Cupit.
