SCLSNJ Offers Spring Coloring Sheets

To help welcome May, Raashi Yadav, 9, of Watchung, colored a flower-themed sheet at the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey's (SCLSNJ) Watchung branch.

"The Watchung branch is excited to have coloring sheets and crayons available in the youth services space," said Katie Salerno, youth services librarian. "Coloring encourages families to spend more time at the Library - exploring our diverse collections, expressing themselves artistically, and connecting to each other and other families."
The branch currently has 14 varieties of coloring sheets available. For the summer months, the branch will be sharing math activity sheets in order to help local students avoid the summer slide. Parents and children can grab-and-go or color in the Library, but the crayons packaged in rainbow order stay in the Library.
