"Hi my name is Jessica Couto and my dog's name is Athena, we live in Society Hill Basking Ridge. Athena is about 3 years old.

I'm a vet technician and I adopted her from my job (animal hospital) when she came in after being hit by a car. She was a stray, but even when she was injured she was wagging her tail and kissing my face. That's when I told her she's coming home with me when she gets better, that was about one year ago.

Athena is all healed up now and loving life in Basking Ridge, she absolutely is the best most loyal dog there is. She comes with me to work everyday to see all her friends, loves her walks, car rides and her stuffed animals.

She gets along with everyone she comes in contact with people or other animals. She enjoys days off just sleeping, kisses and cuddling while watching TV. She loves playing with her brother junior (my mother's puggle) and the three cats.

Athena will do anything for a tasty treat she's very intelligent and knows sit, paw, lay down, wait and jump. She's my best friend and I treasure her companionship. I'm glad we found each other."
