Shoplifting, Drugs, Warrant Arrests Made In Watchung
A 6' bald white male with a stocky build and goatee who was wearing tan cargo shorts and blue T-shirt is wanted for shoplifting in Watchung.

WATCHUNG, NJ — Watchung Police made multiple arrests for shoplifting, drugs and warrants last week, according to the blotter.
Watchung Police Blotter:
On June 30 at 3:49 p.m.: DSW Shoes on Route 22 West reported a shoplifter fled from the store with merchandise. DSW reported that a 6' bald white male with a stocky build and goatee who was wearing tan cargo shorts and a blue T-shirt entered the store, removed shoes he was wearing to try on another pair, then selected a second pair of shoes and left the store leaving his old shoes behind. The two pairs of shoes were valued at $115 and police are investigating.

On July 8 at 1:13 p.m.: Monica Galgani, 37, of Sewarren was arrested on an active warrant out of Edison Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 for tinted windows. During the stop, multiple pieces of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia were located as well as a hypodermic needle. She was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. She was released after posing the $89 bail on the warrant.
On July 8 at 2:21 p.m.: Daniel E. Burke, 38, of North Branch arrived at Watchung Police Headquarters to pay cash bail for his ex-wife who was in custody. While there police found an active warrant out of Raritan Borough for $100 in his name. He was processed and released after posting cash bail.

On July 6 at 4:16 p.m.: Robert Cepeda, 24, of Plainfield was stopped on Somerset Street for having an expired registration. Cepeda was also found to be in possession of marijuana and arrested. He was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a summonses for expired registration.
On July 5 at 8:21 p.m.: Tyrone Harris, 59, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $95.23 worth of merchandise from Stop and Shop. He was also found to have a warrant out of Somerset County Sheriff's Office for $50,196.80 and three warrants for $500, $500 and $81. He was also found to be possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued two Watchung summonses for shoplifting and possession of a controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and transported to Somerset County Sheriff's Office.
