More than 150 business owners, community leaders and residents packed the Twin Brooks County Club in Watchung Thursday night to hear five local mayors extoll the virtues of doing business in their towns. The event was put together by the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP), a public/private organization supported by the Freeholder Board and the business community.
The mayors who spoke and answered questions from the audience were Michael Giordano of North Plainfield, Patrick Boccio of Green Brook, Mark Hasting of Bound Brook, Gary DiNardo of Warren, and Stephen Pote of Watchung.
“Somerset County is one of the premiere counties in America,” said Somerset County Freeholder Director Patrick Scaglione. “We thrive here as families and businesses because of design and planning, the county working with the Mayors on this stage for the benefit of all.”
