Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children (Somerset Home - www.somersethome.org) will celebrate the community and the work the agency has done for the past 40+ years at its 1st Annual Spark! 2015 Gala: A Hopeful Future for Youth. It is the core mission of Somerset Home to provide abused, neglected, homeless, and runaway youth with housing, a stable environment, and supportive services that guide them in becoming self-sufficient.

The evening will begin with cocktails and a silent auction prior to the awards ceremony which will honor individuals, companies, and organizations for the positive impact they have made to the community and the lives of youth. The ceremony will also include the awarding of the Lisa Warren Scholarship to a client of Somerset Home who is graduating from high school and plans to continue his/her education at an institution of higher learning. Following the awards ceremony, guests will enjoy dinner and live entertainment.
Tickets are $150 per person and proceeds will benefit Somerset Home’s programs and services.

Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children (somersethome.org) provides abused, neglected, homeless, and runaway youth with housing, a stable environment, and supportive services that guide them in becoming self-sufficient. Since 1970, over 7,000 youth have come to Somerset Home to seek shelter, food, clothing, and supportive services. Somerset Home’s residential programs and one of our Street Smart street outreach offices are located in Bridgewater, NJ. Satellite offices in East Orange, Hackensack, and Morristown provide street outreach services to six northern and central New Jersey counties (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, and Union).
