Three Shoplifting Arrests Made In Watchung
DWI, drug and shoplifting arrests are among the reported incidents in the Watchung Police blotter

Watchung, NJ - Watchung Police reported making multiple arrests for shoplifting last week in town
On June 22 at 4:57 p.m.: Ella A. Norris, 44, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting four fragrance bottles worth $74.99 in her purse at Target. Norris was stopped by a Loss Prevention employee when she tried to leave without paying. She was arrested and transported to Watchung Police Headquarters for processing.
On June 19 at 2:41 p.m.: Anthony Thomas, 18, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $251.91 from Target. He was transported to Watchung Police Headquarters for processing.

On June 22 at 10:47 a.m.: Michele Gutierrez, 35, of Linden was arrested for shoplifting four fragrance bottles and two swimsuits worth a total of $253 from Sears on Route 22 East.

On June 22 at 3:48p.m.: Peter Calderoni, 32, of Plainfield was at Middlesex County Jail and found to have an outstanding Watchung Municipal Court warrant for $500. He was arrested by Watchung Police and transported to Somerset County Jail and given a new court date.

On June 22 at 1:03 p.m.: Ashley Labrador, 22, of Jersey City was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. Labrador had an outstanding warrant out of Mount Laurel for $300. She was also issued citations for Driving While Suspended, Failure to Inspect Vehicle, and Failure to Produce Drivers License or Registration. Labrador posted bail and was given a new court date.
On June 22 at 2:31 p.m.: Brittany Sawyer, 31, of Allentown, Pa. was at Green Brook Police Department and found to have two active warrants out of Watchung for contempt of court for $978 and $500. She was transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.
On June 22 at 10:09 a.m.: Jason Green, 51, of Scotch Plains, was at Plainfield Police Department and found to have two outstanding warrants from Watchung Municipal Court for $539 and $1,328. Green was arrested by Watchung Police and transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.
On June 22 at 3:48 p.m.: Lonnice Haynesworth, 28, of Plainfield was at Middlesex County Jail and found to have two outstanding warrants out of Watchung Municipal Court for $500 and $250. She was transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.
On June 20 at 11:14 p.m.: Travis Johnson, 22, of Newark was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and having active warrants. He transported to Watchung Police Headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On June 25 at 3:23 p.m.: Amro Mohamed, 32, of Little Falls was driving a truck in violation of the 5 ton weight restriction on Hillcrest Road and was arrested during a motor vehicle stop. He was issued summonses for Obstructing Passage of Other Vehicles, Driving While Suspended, Failure to Exhibit Driver's License and he had two outstanding warrants out of Paterson for $150 and $350.
On June 25 at 12:40 a.m.: Vincent Trinka, 33, of Morristown was arrested for DWI, DWI in a school zone, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lane following a motor vehicle accident on Stirling Road. He was released to a sober adult.
On June 27 at 11:25 p.m.: Josue Gonzalez, 21, of Middlesex was arrested a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 West. Gonzalez was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Newark for $350. He posted bail and was released.
