Two Cases Of Beer, $50K In Jewelry Stolen, Fight Involving Knife Reported

All three separate incidents were reported in North Plainfield.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Two cases of beer, $50,000 worth of jewelry and a fight involving a knife and car damage was all reported in North Plainfield.

North Plainfield Police blotter:

On Nov. 15 at 5:30 a.m.: Two unidentified males burglarized a garage located at 49 Craig Place where they stole two cases of Corona beer worth $20.

On Nov. 15 at 6:50 p.m.: A dispute between acquaintances occurs at the Howard Johnson at 1025 Route 22 West. It escalates into the the suspect threatening the victim with a knife and throwing an object through the rear windshield of the victim's car. The approximate estimate value of the windshield is $350.

On Nov. 15 at 12:57 p.m.: A Brook Avenue resident reported her home was burglarized and approximately $50,000 worth of jewelry was stolen. The suspect entered through a rear door that the victim had possibly left unlocked during the day. There were no visible signs of entry in the home. There are no suspects at this time.
