Volunteers Needed To Help Clean Up Green Brook

The Central Jersey Stream Team needs volunteers to help clean the Green Brook floodplain on Dec. 3.

GREEN BROOK, NJ — The Central Jersey Stream Team is hosting it's final cleanup for 2017 on Sunday, Dec. 3 in Green Brook.

The CJST will be partnering with the Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership to clean the Green Brook floodplain behind the Green Brook Regional Center.

The team will be picking up lots of litter, a few tires, and whatever other junk they find. The main goal is to clear the trash blockage seen in the picture and a few people may venture into the stream (in waders) to pull some tires.
