Wanted Shoplifter Stole 16 Shampoo Bottles From Watchung Store
Three other shoplifting arrests were also made at Watchung stores, police report.

WATCHUNG, NJ — A total of four shoplifting incidents were reported from Watchung stores recently including one man who got away with 16 bottles of shampoo, police report.
Watchung Police Blotter:
On April 14 at 12:30 p.m.: Stop and Shop in Route 22 West reported a shoplifter who fled from the store with hair care products. The suspect was described as a black male with red dreadlocks wearing a puffy black jacket and blue jeans and carrying a NY Giants backpack. The suspect placed 16 bottles of shampoo in the backpack and fled from the store.

On April 15 at 9:18 p.m.: Sheldon Oaks, 28, of Newark was arrested during a motor vehicle stop in the Bufflaro Wild Wings parking lot on an active warrant out of Union Township. He was arrested and transported to headquarters for processing. He was released after posting $750 bail.
On April 14 at 7:16 p.m.: Aliyah Mccleod, 22, of New Brunswick was arrested for shoplifting $181.42 worth of merchandise from Target on Route 22 West. She was seen taking multiple articles of baby and female clothing and placing them into plastic Target shopping bags. She was stopped in the store's vestibule. She was arrested, transported to headquarters, processed and released on a court date.

On April 15 at 12:08 a.m.: Gerard Mitchell, 21, of East Orange was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East for having three outstanding warrants out of Upper Saddle River Municipal Court for $1,000, South Plainfield Municipal Court for $339 and East Orange Municipal Court for $100. He was also issued two summonses for delaying traffic and driving while suspended. He was released after posting bail for two of the warrants.
On April 15 at 11:31 a.m.: Edna Hemingway, 31, of Jersey City was arrested for having an active warrant from Newark and Jersey City following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. She was released on all warrants.
On April 15 at 11:31 a.m.: Matthew Brinson, 40, of Jersey City was arrested for having a warrant out of Newark Municipal Court for $200 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. He was also issued summonses for unlicensed driver, driving while suspended and tinted windows. He was later released.
On April 14 at 9:09 a.m.: Sharonda Winston, 43, of Plainfield was arrested for hindering following a traffic stop on Gray Street. Winston was unable to produce identification and gave several alias names and birth dates to avoid being arrested on multiple active warrants. She was arrested, processed and turned over to the Union County Sheriff's Department.
On April 13 at 11:26 a.m.: Stephoun Brown, 19, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $359.93 worth of cellphones from Target on Route 22 West. He was observed on store cameras using scissors cutting security sensors off the cellphones and concealing them in a black and gray backpack. He was transported to headquarters, processed and picked up by Plainfield Police on their warrant for $500.
On April 13 at 8:12 p.m.: Terence Burke, 48, of Edison was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East on an outstanding warrant out of Metuchen Borough for $750 and Robbinsville for $500. He was transported to headquarters and released after posting bail.
On April 11 at 9:20 p.m.: Wilbert Moore, 58, of East Orange was arrested for having an active warrant out of Watchung for $750 while already arrested at East Orange Police. He was transported to Somerset County Jail.
On April 11 at 10:54 a.m.: Rafi Taylor, 19, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $319.96 worth of electronic devices from Target on Route 22 West. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On April 10 at 2:45 p.m.: Miguel Cruz, 20, of Plainfield was under arrest in Plainfield and was unable to post $500 bail for an outstanding Watchung warrant and transported to Somerset County Jail.
