Washington Avenue Closure To Be Extended Two More Weeks
Construction on Washington Avenue is going to be extended through June 17.

Green Brook, NJ -- Construction on Washington Avenue is going to be extended for an additional two weeks, Green Brook police announced.
Washington Avenue south in Green Brook has been closed to all traffic for almost three weeks due to emergency sewer repairs in Dunellen. It closed on May 16 and the road was slated to reopen on Friday, June 3.
However, the road is now slated to be closed for two more weeks, through June 17.

As a result of this closure, traffic travelling south on Washington Avenue from Route 22 will continue to be detoured onto Greenbrook Road towards Rock Avenue.
Motorists are urged to use alternate routes during this construction, including Rock Avenue and Warrenville Road.
