A township man was arrested for kicking and punching Watchung Police Officers: blotter

Watchung, NJ -- A township man was arrested for kicking and punching Watchung Police Officers.

On June 8 during an investigation, Fred Mason, 27, of Crystal Ridge Drive in Watchung became combative towards officers by kicking, punching and assaulting the officers, according to the police blotter.

 Mason was charged with Aggravated Assault that was then downgraded to Assault.

On June 10 at 4:20 p.m.: Andrea Lucincook, 23, of Beech Street in Cranford was arrested for shoplifting $40.20 worth of merchandise from Walmart located at 1515 Route 22 West, Lucincook was transported to Watchung Police Headquarters and later released on summonses.

On June 8: Target reported a shoplifter who fled the store with energy drinks. The suspect was described as 5'10" bald, black male approximately 45 to 55 years old with a mustache and stocky build. The suspect loaded $253 worth of Red Bull drinks into a shopping cart and exited the store without paying for the merchandise.

On June 9: Ayanna N. El, 25, of Park Avenue in East Orange was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Robbinsville for $350 and expired registration following a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. She was transported to headquarters and processed. She was later released on her own recognizance with a pending court date with Robbinsville Court.

On June 9: Scott Cuskaden, 44, of Green Village Road in Green Village reportedly gave police officers multiple fake names and dates of birth. He then agreed to a live scan which revealed his true identity as Scott Cuskaden. He was charged with Obstruction.
