Watchung Warriors First Annual Season Kick Off Barbecue is on Aug. 26

The all-you-can-eat-barbecue will take place at Elks Lodge.

The Junior Warriors and Watchung Hills Touchdown Club is holding the first annual season kick off barbecue on Aug. 26.

Come celebrate the start of the season for the WHRHS football team, cheerleading team, marching band and Pop Warner and Junior Warrior football and cheer as well.

There will be all-you-can-eat barbecue, as well as Uncle’s Louie’s Italian Ices and wine and beer.

The band 94 Proof will perform and there will be games for kids.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. Any high school student who brings their school ID will also be $15.

The barbecue will be from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Elks Lodge on 1 Elks Trail.

Head coach Rich Seubert, who was the NFL Giants former SuperBowl Winner, will be at the barbecue to connect with the community and get residents excited for the upcoming season.

The first Warriors football game is Sept. 9, 7 p.m. at Union High School Stadium.
