Window Smashed, Car Burglarized While Parked At Watchung Square Mall
Multiple shoplifting and warrant arrests were also made recently in Watchung, police report.

WATCHUNG, NJ — A car parked at the Watchung Square Mall was burglarized on a Sunday afternoon, police report.
On April 2 at 2:30 p.m., a North Plainfield resident reported parking his car in the Watchung Square Mall parking lot near Stein Mart at around 2:30 p.m.
When he returned to his car about an hour later he discovered a rock on the driver's side floor and a broken passenger side front window.

The victim's digital camera and carrying case valued at $350 were missing. Police are investigating.

On April 9 at 1 p.m.: Nicole Manginelli, 26, of Plainfield was arrested for having two active warrants out of Watchung and Westfield following a traffic stop at the Blue Star Mall. She was transported to Watchung Police Department headquarters for processing and was released on $1,000 bail and issued summonses for expired registration and driving while suspended.
On April 8 at 8:32 p.m.: Henry Rhodes, 53, of Paterson was arrested for having a warrant out of Passaic County and a suspended driver's license following a traffic stop on Route 22 East. Passaic County Police took custody of Phodes and he was issued a summonses for driving while suspended.
On April 9 at 1:42 p.m.: Valerie Ramos, 24, of Belleville was arrested for having a warrant out of Newark Municipal Court for $350 following a traffic stop on Somerset Street. She was transported to Watchung Police Department headquarters for processing and was released ROR by Newark Police.
On April 9 at 3:01 p.m.: Leonard Brown, 43, of Bound Brook was arrested for having a warrant out of Jersey City for $100 and a warrant out of Franklin Township for $515 following a car crash on Route 22 West. He was transferred to Franklin Police custody and issued multiple citations.
On April 6 at 2:27 p.m.: Oscar Rodriguez, 23, of Colonia was arrested on an active warrant out of Woodbridge for $250 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. He was transported to police headquarters and posted bail. He was also issued three citations.
On April 6 at 12:20 p.m.: Michael Mills, 36, of Newark was arrested for having two outstanding warrants out of Livingston Municpal Court for $1,000 and Union Township Municipal Court for $1,000 following a traffic stop on New Providence Road. He was transported to headquarters for processing and issued two summonses for unclear plates and unlicensed driver. He was released after posting bail.
On April 6 at 11:15 a.m.: Jessica Cade, 28, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a traffic stop on Park Avenue overpass. She was transported to headquarters, processed, issued summonses for possession of marijuana, wipers on/lights on and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. She was released with a court date.
On April 5 at 4:53 p.m.: Carolina Infante, 27, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $71.59 worth of clothing from Walmart on Route 22 West. Infante removed the clothing off the shelf and placed it inside her diaper bag and then attempted to exit the store without paying. She was issued a summonses for shoplifting and released with a court date.
On April 5 at 4:53 p.m.: Francina Jerez-Pena, 24, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $96.24 worth of clothing from Walmart on Route 22 West. Jerez-Pena removed the clothing off the shelf and placed it inside her diaper bag and then attempted to exit the store without paying. She was issued a summonses for shoplifting and released with a court date.
On April 5 at 8:36 p.m.: Keely Clark, 57, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting $52.94 worth of unpaid merchandise from Shoprite on Route 22 West. She was processed at headquarters and issued a summonses for shoplifting and released with a court date.
On April 5 at 8:03 p.m.: Wydirah Tait, 37, of East Orange was arrested for having a warrant out of East Orange Municipal Court for $153 following a traffic stop on Route 22 West. Tait posted bail and was released.
On April 4 at 2:10 p.m.: Daniel Comar, 24, of Sayerville was arrested for having a warrant out of Watchung for $500 following a prisoner pickup from Middlesex County Jail.
On April 3 at 10:27 p.m.: German Wilfredo, 20, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart on Route 22 West. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
On April 3 at 10:27 p.m.: Gloria Quintanilla, 18, of Plainfield was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart on Route 22 West. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released on summonses.
