YPCNJ and CJSO Present "Le Petit Orchestre" Competition Winners
Young musicians of YPCNJ shine with the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
2015 Winners of the “Le Petit Orchestre” Division (YPCNJ) will appear as soloists with the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Michael Avagliano on March 21, 2015 at 7:00 PM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge, NJ. This is an annual event for the Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey, but this marks our second collaboration with the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra, currently in residence at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC).
Performers include:
- Tvisha Faria (8 year old pianist) of Hillsborough, NJ studying with Ms. Yelena Ivanov.
- Angelina Huang (7 year old pianist) of Bridgewater, NJ studying with Ms. Lana Ivanov.
- Joey Huang (9 year old pianist) of Bridgewater, NJ studying with Ms. Lana Ivanov.
- Orenda J. Lin (10 year old pianist) of Phoenixville, PA studying with Ms. Ieva Carucci.
- Laura Liu (8 year old pianist) of Basking Ridge, NJ studying with Ms. Yelena Ivanov.
- Evan Lu (9 year old pianist) of Collegeville, PA studying with Ms. Ieva Carucci.
- Savannah Ma (9 year old violinist) of New York, NY studying with Ms. Elizabeth Faidley.
- Mia Oehm (8 year old violinist) of New York City, NY studying with Ms. Elizabeth Faidley.
- Andy Pei (9 year old violinist) of Basking Ridge, NJ studying with Ms. Larissa Blitz.
