Threats were made against 2 schools, officials said. All Halloween activities were indoors.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Fifteen Paterson schools are in a shelter-in-place lockdown after threats were made against two schools Wednesday. All Halloween-related activities were held indoors and after-school activities throughout the district have been canceled.
The threats were made against Eastside High School and the John F. Kennedy Educational Complex, Superintendent Eileen F. Shafter said in a statement.
Similar threats were made against schools in other districts, Shafter said, but she declined to give specific information regarding those threats.
