PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A United States Postal Service van slammed into a home in Passaic County this week, according to a local mayor.
On Monday morning, a USPS van traveling on Barbour Street in Haledon drove onto a home's front lawn before colliding with the house itself, according to Mayor Michael Johnson.
"The accident caused some damage to the house, but thankfully no one was seriously injured," Johnson said.
The collision prompted a response from Haledon police and fire companies. No charges have been announced by officials as of Tuesday morning.
