Assemblyman Scott Rumana Hosting Picnic Sept. 18
Free event will be at the Wayne Police Athletic League.

WAYNE, N.J. — Assemblyman Scott Rumana will host his 16th annual family picnic for 40th District constituents Sept. 18 from noon to 4 p.m.
Rumana, the Assembly's Republican whip, said there would be family-friendly games and entertainment at the free event.
The picnic will be at the Wayne Police Athletic League at 1 PAL Drive, rain or shine.

Rumana was nominated for a Passaic County Superior Court judgeship earlier this year. He has been as assemblyman since 2008 and Republican whip since 2012.
Rumana was Wayne mayor from 2002 to 2007, a Wayne council member from 1994 to 1997, and a Passaic County freeholder from 1997 to 2000.

The 40th Legislative District includes portions of Passaic, Morris, Bergen, and Essex counties, including Wayne, Ridgewood, and Wyckoff.
