Bow Tie Cinemas Renews Lease At Preakness Shopping Center
The movie theater was slated to close Sunday.

WAYNE, N.J. — Bow Tie Preakness Cinemas will remain open after reaching an agreement to extend its lease at the Preakness Shopping Center.
Jared Milgram, vice president of marketing for Bow Tie Cinemas, confirmed Thursday the movie theater will stay open "for the foreseeable future."
Milgram would not comment on the length of the lease or the specifics of the deal.

A notice on Bow Tie Cinemas' website stated that the company's lease on the property had expired and that the movie theater would close Sunday.
Cablevision sold the Wayne theater and 20 others to the Connecticut-based Bow Tie Cinemas in 2013.
