WAYNE, NJ — The Wayne Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse is proud to announce its Annual Family Fun Night Basketball Fundraiser, taking place on Friday, April 10th at Wayne Valley High School. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the game tips off at 7:00 PM. This exciting community event always coincides with the very important April which is Alcohol Awareness Month, making this night not only a celebration of community spirit, but a meaningful stand for the health and well-being of Wayne’s youth and families. This is more than a basketball game. It is a statement that Wayne cares.
About the Event Community members of all ages are invited to cheer on the electrifying Harlem MagicMasters as they face off against local Wayne teachers and principals competing as the Alliance All-Stars Team. It will be a night packed with laughs, jaw-dropping basketball skills, and the kind of community pride that makes Wayne special.Dinner and snacks will be available for purchase courtesy of two wonderful community sponsors: Outback Steakhouse and Hometown Creamery. Come hungry and stay for the fun.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Wayne’s Elementary Schools and Wayne Alliance Volunteers The Wayne Alliance extends its deepest gratitude to Wayne Alliance Volunteers for coordinating the event and Wayne’s Elementary Schools for their incredible enthusiasm and dedication in promoting, organizing, selling tickets, volunteering as our All Star Team and raising awareness for this event. The school that sells the most tickets and creates the most impactful awareness poster will be rewarded with a well-earned ice pop party. Now, that’s a sweet reward for a truly meaningful effort.Your students, teachers, and staff are the heartbeat of this community.
