Cedar Crest Community Steps Up at Annual Breast Cancer Walk
Raises more than $3,000 for American Cancer Society
More than 100 residents and staff from Cedar Crest, a distinctive senior living community developed and managed by Erickson Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, stepped up at its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Participants adorned in pink apparel walked together on campus to promote awareness and raise money for breast cancer research. The walk raised more than $3,000 for the American Cancer Society.
The event included a ½ mile walk on campus as well as a Pink Party Expo with music, games, refreshments, gift baskets, raffle prizes, and giveaways.

"Thank you to our residents and staff for coming together to enjoy a day of fun and exercise, and raise money for an important cause," said Cedar Crest Fitness Manager Jennifer Schweizer.
