Cedar Crest Golf Classic & Spa Retreat Raises More Than $51K for Resident Care Fund.

The 7th Annual Cedar Crest Golf Classic & Spa Retreat, held September 14 at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey, raised more than $51K for the continuing care retirement community’s Resident Care Fund. More than 140 residents, employees, sponsors, and guests enjoyed a day of golf or took a luxurious spa day at the beautiful resort. The event concluded with a cocktail reception, raffle drawing, wine tasting at Crystal Springs famous wine cellar and a gourmet dinner.

The Resident Care Fund at Cedar Crest provides support to residents who, despite careful planning, outlive their financial resources. The money donated to the fund allows for residents experiencing financial adversity to continue living at Cedar Crest, in their home, among their friends, receiving the care that they need.

“Thank you to all sponsors, residents, staff and board members who helped make this event such a huge success,” said Philanthropy Manager Lauren Corrente. “Participants enjoyed a fun-filled day and night for a great cause. Cedar Crest's mission is to help our residents live better lives by creating a community where our residents can enjoy a vibrant and secure retirement lifestyle."

Cedar Crest is one of 19 continuing care retirement communities managed by Erickson Living. The scenic 130-acre campus is located in Pompton Plains, New Jersey and is home to over 2,000 residents. The community offers abundant amenities, hundreds of clubs and activities, on-site restaurants, a state-of-the-art medical center, an all-season pool and a fitness center.
