Cedar Crest Horseshoe Tournament is all about fun and community

Residents and staff at Cedar Crest enjoyed a little friendly competition at annual horseshoe tournament

On September 21, residents and staff at Cedar Crest, an Erickson Living retirement community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, enjoyed a little friendly competition at its annual horseshoe competition. This year, the residents emerged victorious in the group contest. First place honors went to residents Ron Paliaga and Bruno Tomaino.

“We had a great time,” said Grounds Supervisor Ted Theissen. “It is an opportunity for residents and staff to spend time together, have fun, and get some exercise.”

“Recreational activities are a wonderful source of camaraderie,” said Resident Life Manager Erica Zayat. “These types of community events create a family atmosphere on campus.”
