Cedar Crest Hosts Holiday Boutique, November 7

Department 56 Snow Village collectibles, holiday merchandise, and more!

Looking for affordable gifts for the holiday season? Shop for Christmas and Hanukkah merchandise, holiday ornaments and decorations, jewelry, and collectibles including Department 56 Snow Village and Heritage Village buildings and landscapes at Cedar Crest’s annual Holiday Boutique. Shopping will be especially enjoyable since there is no sales tax. All workers are volunteers, and all proceeds go toward charity.

The Holiday Boutique is scheduled for Election Day, November 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Woodland Commons Catering Room, Cedar Crest Retirement Community, Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

Volunteers from Cedar Crest’s Treasure Shoppe, an on-site resale shop where residents can donate furniture, housewares, and other items they no longer need, organize the annual holiday sale. Since it opened more than ten years ago, the Treasure Shoppe has raised more than $632,300 for the Resident Care Fund at Cedar Crest. The Fund provides support to residents who, despite careful planning, outlive their financial resources. The money donated to the fund allows for residents experiencing financial adversity to continue living at Cedar Crest, in their home, among their friends, receiving the care that they need.
