​Cedar Crest Protestants to Install New Pastor

In a joyful worship service that will celebrate the pastoral ministries of Cedar Crest, the Protestant Faith Community will install the Rev. Dr. Karyn A. Ratcliffe as its Pastor and Faith Leader. The service will be held on Sunday, October 20, at 3 p.m. in its Interfaith Chapel. Cedar Crest, a developed and managed Erickson Living senior community, is located in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

“We view this as a community-wide event, open to all residents, family, and friends of the Pastor,” said Protestant Council President Kathy Moffitt.

The service will feature the combined faith choirs and the Chorale under the direction of George W. Swope, Director of Music Ministries. The service will also include the Furioso String Quartet, an organ/piano duet, and other guest musicians.

Clergy from various faiths traditions living and working at Cedar Crest and in the neighboring towns will be invited to participate in the service as a symbol of the many different religious backgrounds represented among the Cedar Crest residents.
