Cedar Crest Residents Donate $249,843 to Staff Appreciation Fund
Over 799 hourly staff members received a gift.

This year, residents at Cedar Crest, an Erickson Living retirement community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, donated $249,843 to the community’s Staff Appreciation Fund. The annual campaign is organized each year as a way for the residents to say “thank you” to non-management hourly employees who provide a variety of resident services at the community.
On December 5, Cedar Crest hosted a Staff Appreciation Fund celebration where residents were able to express their gratitude toward employees and help distribute donated funds to each eligible employee. Over 799 hourly staff members received a gift.
"Cedar Crest employees are often told what a difference they make in the lives our residents," said Director of Human Resources Suson Tillman-Taylor. "The Staff Appreciation campaign is a wonderful way for residents to show their appreciation to our staff who can’t accept gratuities for services during the year.”
