Cedar Crest Residents Donate $257,940 to Staff Appreciation Fund
Over 800 hourly staff members received a gift.

Residents at Cedar Crest, an Erickson Living senior living community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, donated $257,940 to the community's Staff Appreciation Fund. The annual campaign is organized each year as a way for the residents to say "thank you" to non-management hourly employees who provide a variety of resident services at the community.
At the festive event held on December 4, residents expressed their appreciation toward employees and helped distribute donated funds to each eligible employee. At Cedar Crest, eligible employees may include the community's wait staff, dining associates, security officers, communication and administrative staff, banquet servers, maintenance workers, culinary team, housekeepers, Certified Medical Assistants, and Certified Nursing Assistants, totaling 806 staff members.
During the event, employees had the opportunity to contribute personalized messages of gratitude to the thank you banner, which is currently on display at the community.

“It was great to partner with our residents in celebrating our employees and thank them for everything they bring to their roles here at Cedar Crest each day,” said Human Resources Director Katy Corrado. “I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the joy and enthusiasm in each employee who received a Staff Appreciation gift on Tuesday. Our employees were incredibly grateful for the gifts and the residents who generously contributed to them.”
