This year, residents at Cedar Crest, a developed and managed Erickson Living senior living community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, donated $268,623 to the community's Staff Appreciation Fund. The annual campaign is organized each year as a way for the residents to say "thank you" to non-management hourly employees who provide a variety of resident services at the community.

On December 5, Cedar Crest hosted a Staff Appreciation Fund celebration where residents were able to express their gratitude toward employees and help distribute donated funds to each eligible employee. At Cedar Crest, eligible employees may include the community's wait staff, dining associates, security officers, communication and administrative staff, banquet servers, maintenance workers, culinary team, housekeepers, Certified Medical Assistants, and Certified Nursing Assistants, totaling 812 staff members.

"Thank you to our residents for their generosity and for recognizing the hard work that our employees do to make Cedar Crest a great place to live and work," said Human Resources Director Katy Corrado. "The fund is a terrific opportunity for residents to give a gift to the employees who mean so much to them all year."
