SHOMREI TORAH TO INSTALL NEW OFFICERS/TRUSTEES AT FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER AND SERVICE

On Friday, April 29 Shomrei Torah – the Wayne Conservative Congregation will install new officers and trustees with a dinner beginning at 6:30 pm and services at 8:00 pm at 30 Hinchman Avenue, Wayne, New Jersey.  A dessert reception (Oneg Shabbat) will follow services.

Karen Weiss will be installed as Executive Vice-President/President Elect and Cindy Merker as Recording Secretary to round out the current Executive Board consisting of Sheryl Sarin, President; Randy Reiser, Membership/Programming/Social Action Vice-President; Roberta Ort, Education/Ritual/Youth Vice-President; Edward Seradzky, Finance/Fundraising Vice-President; Jamie Burr, Treasurer; Philip Nuccetelli, Financial Secretary; and Andy Simon, Communications Secretary.

Those to be installed to the Board of Trustees are:  Jeffrey Appel, Sarah Blecherman, Susan Feldman, Tova Friede, Steve Gastwirth, Tammy Gotian, Beth Julie, Mark Kass, Ross Lesser, Carol Ramer, Carla Rudow, Daniel Seplow, Martin Siegel, and Perry Wolkowitz.  They will be joining existing Board members:  Eli Aschner, Evan Berenzweig, Alan Feldman, Carol Fertig, Marlene Klein, Arlene Marks, Robert Molnar, Alex Paley, Jill Spodek, and Bennett Wasserstrum.  Stuart Millstein and Janet Simon also remain on the Board as Men’s Club and Sisterhood representatives.

Those wishing to attend the dinner should RSVP by April 25 to the synagogue office at 973-696-2500 or office@ShomreiTorahWCC.org.  The cost for the dinner is $18 per adult, $8:00 for children 4 to 12, and free for children 3 and under.
