Families Invited to Open Houses at Wayne YMCA's ECLC July 24, 26

Parents of children from six weeks old to age 5 can explore the Wayne YMCA’s ABC Early Childhood Learning Center at open houses on July 24, from 10-11:30 a.m., and on July 26, 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The Wayne YMCA’s high-qualified, state-accredited ECLC at 1 Pike Drive has lower than required child-to-teacher ratios and open enrollment. The center has full- and part-time childcare provided by an experienced, caring staff.

Extended care is now included in the tuition cost, and families who register by Aug. 1 receive $100 off the first month’s tuition.

The ECLC teaches language arts, science, arts & crafts, math and character development. Enrichment programs include swimming, theater, music and dance. Starting this fall, the center is adding Fundations curriculum in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs, plus Junior Achievers in kindergarten. The center has field trips for four-year-olds and kindergarteners, and promotes family involvement with special programs.
