63-Year-Old Woman Killed In Route 80 Crash
A fatal crash happened involving a car and a tractor-trailer where two major N.J. highways meet.

A 63-year-old Connecticut woman died early Wednesday when a tractor-trailer rear-ended her vehicle on Route 80 in Saddle Brook, State Police said.
The crash, which happened on Route 80 near the Garden State Parkway, occurred at 2:35 a.m. on I-80's westbound lanes near milepost 61.9, said State Police Trooper Lawrence Peele.
A tractor-trailer struck the back of the Hyundai Accent Laura Russo, 63, was driving and she was pronounced dead at the scene, Peele said.

The tractor-trailer driver did not report any injuries, Peele said.
No summonses were issued and authorities are continuing to investigate the crash, police said.
