Wayne Full-Day Kindergarten Voted Down

Okun, Petrecca, and Albanese elected to the Board of Education. Republicans sweep municipal election.

Wayne voters said no to bringing full-day kindergarten to the district.

The ballot referendum was voted down 4,754 to 4,126 Tuesday night.

If approved, the district would have raised an additional $2.1 million to hire nearly 20 teaches and several aids and pay for textbooks and staff benefits.
