Guilty Verdict Returned In 'RHONJ' Car Murder Case: Report

Gerry Thomas was found guilty of 2 counts of felony murder in the gruesome torching of men inside a car owned by 'RHONJ' star Kim DePaola.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Gerry Thomas was convicted of two counts of felony murder Wednesday in the gruesome torching of two men last year in Paterson inside a car that was owned by "Real Housewives Of New Jersey" star Kim DePaola, NorthJersey.com reported.

Thomas was also convicted of aggravated arson and attempted robbery, according to the report. He was acquitted of two counts of murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a handgun, according to the report. He faces 30 years to life in prison on each felony murder charge.

Sentencing is scheduled for May 18, NorthJersey.com reported.

Aaron Anderson, 27, and Antonio Vega Jr., 25, both of Paterson, were the victims in the case. They were both shot once in the head during what authorities said was a drug deal gone bad March 17, authorities said.

Clarence Williams, faces the same charges in the case as Thomas. Williams' trial is expected to begin later this year, NorthJersey.com reported.

DePaola's son, Christopher Camiscioli, testified during the trial that he gave Anderson the keys to the car after he drove him to the airport the day before the murders, NorthJersey.com reported.

DePaola posted a note of gratitude on Instagram two days after the murders. She offered her condolences to the victims' families.
