A New Jersey community and a college are mourning the death of a 20-year-old student, an accomplished cheerleader and softball player, whose vehicle crashed over the weekend, and then rolled over.

Social media posts from Wallington High School and William Paterson University paid tribute to Emily Desbiens, who was killed early Sunday when her sedan ran up a utility pole guide wire and rolled over before landing on top of her, according to Daily Voice. Desbiens, who was going to be a senior in September, was ejected from the car in the crash, which took place just blocks from her Wallington home at Paterson and Mount Pleasant avenues.

Members of William Paterson University's Delta Phi Epsilon sorority mourned their sister, offering their solemn words to Daily Voice. "Emily, you are a beautiful soul with an endless amount of unconditional love and joy...A one in a million person who we were all undeniably lucky to know."
