Museum Day: Free Admission At This Wayne Museum Saturday
Snag a free ticket to this township museum on Saturday. Here's how.

WAYNE, NJ — If you’re looking for a fun and free activity for the weekend, consider a trip to one of Arizona’s museums. Saturday, Sept. 22 is “Museum Day” and admission to more than 1,500 museums in the country, including one in Wayne, is free.
The Dey Mansion was used by then-General Washington in July, October, and November of 1780, during the Revolutionary War. Washington chose the house because the area was strategically ideal because it offered a safe area from which the Americans could keep watch on British-occupied New York City.
“Museum Day” is an annual event put together by the Smithsonian Magazine and includes participating museums in all 50 states. According to the Smithsonian, participants can download one ticket per email address that provides free general admission for two people.
