Outback Helps Wayne Cheerleaders Get To National Competition
The restaurant helped the team raise $2,600 to help pay for its annual trip to Florida.

WAYNE, NJ — Outback Steakhouse recently helped some township girls get one step closer to their dream.
The Wayne Hills competition cheerleading team will use the $2,600 to help fund a trip to Florida to compete in the AmeriCheer International Championship in March. Members of the team sold tickets to the "Dine Night Out" event.
The fundraiser was originally just supposed to be one night, but so many tickets were sold the event stretched into a second night.

Manager Dennis Johnson and Donna Kratzer, a mom of one of the cheerleaders, organized the fundraiser.
"The Outback has always been a favorite for Wayne Hills students and parents, it’s our ‘go to’ place after a game or competition," Kratzer said. "Our girls genuinely appreciate their help and are looking forward to a successful trip while in Florida. We can’t thank Dennis and his staff enough for their ongoing support and giving back to the Wayne Hills community. ”
