Outstanding Summer Childrens Programs Available
PRESCHOOL Dance Programs
Our early childhood curriculum is designed to provide a nurturing, non-competitive environment in which children 2-1/2 - 4 years of age are introduced to a variety of dance basics. Emphasis is placed on exploring their creativity, discovering their interests and developing dance skills. Children have the opportunity to discover their own talents and learning styles through our process oriented programs.
Preschool Level I
A unique one-year program created for toddlers age 2-1/2 - 3 enabling the child to develop self-awareness and discover dance in a playful atmosphere. This one-hour class incorporates basic ballet and jazz fundamentals with music and games.
Preschool Level II
Continued work for toddlers age 3 - 4 who have completed Preschool Level I or a comparable program. This class progresses from Level I with the addition of basic tap skills. A fun-filled one-hour class preparing the children for future dance choices.

KINDERGARTEN Dance Programs
A program designed for ages 5-7 consisting of a combination of ballet, tap and jazz incorporating performance ability through song and dance. A 60-minute class for ages 5-7 alternating jazz, ballet and tap. Continued work for children who have completed Preschool Levels I and II or a comparable program. The class incorporates structured tap and ballet barres, basic concepts of jazz, center work and across the floor. Students will expand their knowledge of dance terminology and prepare for a more focused approach to technique with increased difficulty.
Our Preschool and Kindergarten dance programs offer technical dance training as well as fun and games. Each class is geared specifically for the appropriate age group.
Dance benefits children in more ways than just learning dance. It instills confidence and poise, as well as teaches young children how to be part of a team by teaching independence as well as sharing and social skills.
